Paramore and My Chemical Romance to Headline Las Vegas' When We Were Young Festival 2022

The most awaited When We Were Young Festival released its official artist lineup last Tuesday, January 18, 2022. The event welcomes every 2000s emo-pop band that brings back nostalgia on October 22, 2022, in Nevada.

Along with My Chemical Romance, Paramore will be performing as a group as part of the festival's headliner lineup.

The When We Were Young Festival would be the first new Paramore event since the band was on hiatus in 2018. The band has not performed since then. Petals for Armor is the name of the full-length debut solo album, which was released in January 2020 by lead singer Hayley Williams.

In late 2019, My Chemical Romance reconnected on stage for a widely awaited reunion event at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, following their seven-year hiatus from the music industry. The band is also planning a tour for 2022 after being forced to cancel its 2020 tour due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Avril Lavigne, Jimmy Eat World, and Bright Eyes are among the other notable artists listed for the festival.

The When We Were Young Festival rockets pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. PT on January 21, and the regular sale begins at 2 p.m.
